Silvery Icelandic boy I think? Pretty coloring for sure.



The other Icelandic is the dark one in the back on the left. I think it's a girl. That's a Brabanter from right and the other four are Pavlovskajas.

Two feed store cuckoo Marans pullets (?) I think one's a boy. They were not very cooperative in getting out of the shade and letting me get closer.

Yep, I think you can figure out Ebony and Ivory.

I'd bet the silvery Icelandic is a male, though it's a bit too young to be sure. It's stance in the 2nd picture looks male. The black one could go either way, it's looking female right now. Not going to attempt the Pavs or Brabanter until they are older.

Chocolate Orps - yep 2 barred are males, chocolate female.

Cuckoo Marans - both are pullets. Males would be lighter in coloring and there aren't any saddle feathers. One is just maturing quicker than the other.

Looks like you may be able to sex these like Polish. Top picture looks female and more poofy, rounded crest. Bottom picture on left looks like a male, with a more spiky crest. Bottom picture, far right looks male too.

Male. In the larger pic you can see the horns.

Trio. The one with the gold may just be for the layer coop if it doesn't molt out. I am pretty sure I wouldn't breed her anyway.

I think the feather is coming along nicely. I need to take more time and get in touch with people who have been breeding these and see what they think. I have 11 eggs incubating from a very long time breeder. He is the one who told me not to breed the ones with gold in them, even if it molts out.

I already know whose who on the brabanters because of the horns. I added pics. Pavs are undecided but I do love those birds!

I won't be keeping the Ivory male but I may keep the dark girl just for the crest.
