Two feed store cuckoo Marans pullets (?) I think one's a boy. They were not very cooperative in getting out of the shade and letting me get closer.

I say pullets for both of them, especially if you bought them as sexed pullets.

Marans cickerels have much bigger and redder combs at that age. You would see very definite differences.

That's good because I think I will keep them for my layer flock and replace some of the older girls, like the stupid olive eggers who lay light brown eggs and wake up the entire neighborhood doing it!

Mike, I was ordering something on line from Zazzle and they have like 9 million of each product, style, design whatever but, When I searched for "dogs." several Icelandic sheepdogs came up- lovely photos, some with longer coats and some like smooth haired. I have to go back and see who submitted the products - they must have icelandics. I was surprised because I imagine they are a very rare breed in the US unless I am totally wrong.

The particular product is called back packs but, they are not - they are the nylon cinch packs like someone might toss gym clothes in. Every so often a product, t-shirts, hats, magnets, etc. is 50% off - that's the only time I buy, stuff is too high priced. I also am taking the 30 days free trial of their shipping, so that made it nicer. I usually search for chicken themes first then all farm animals, dogs, specific breeds etc. It can take hours if you don't get exasperated first
