Lockdown is Friday for my closely observed hatch in the Brinsea (sitting in my living room). So far only two quitters of the ones that developed. A third developed tiny veins but quit. It had a badly detached membrane and bubbles when I set it.

I've been keeping the humidity at 40% with the pump, weighing them every seven days, and drawing the air cells on the shells. So far they have last 9.8% of their weight and the air cells are smaller. I am a little worried because several had the saddle shaped air cells now which of course occurs in shipped eggs more frequently. Hopefully they'll hatch ok. Two hatch first followed by the others the next day. The first box was the one that the side was caved in and the second box got re-routed in the postal system for an extra four days. U held the first batch up for a couple of days waiting but decided to go ahead and set them. I set the delayed eggs immediately when I got them but didn't turn them the first day. They were already older than I like!

Anyway, we are excited. I have 6 Pavlovskaya eggs coming tomorrow then that's it. Now I just have to raise them all!
