Dental emergency today. imagine that? I got a root canal on the tooth I had a crown put on last week and a filling in the week before. She'll own my house next week! So sick of pain.

Some dentist - they usually do a root canal first and then put a crown on!!. She MUST be my ex dentist. The new dentist (male) said she started two root canals and never finished them. So far four of the crowns she did for me have cavities inside.

Incidentally I have no regular cavities because former dentist capped most of my teeth. Maybe she thought crowning the teeth would keep cavities hidden.

Diva, we could collaborate on The Dental Chronicles!

I woke up this morning not in pain for the first time in weeks. Happy for that, but dreading that I probably need another too canal in the near future. Right now I have to let it go and get ready for Michael's surgery on Friday and his recovery. I am busy trying to think of everything I need help with before he is incapacitated for a couple of months.

On that thought, I can share that I did a huge chicken downsizing in the last couple of weeks, from 71 chicken to 32 chickens. That should cut the feed bill in half as well as the lifting and carrying of 50 pound bags and scooping poop and shavings.

We are still working on Jack's hoof infection with the last dressing change on Thursday. Michael will put it on but I don't think I'll be able to get it off so I may have to call the vet out to do it and recheck the foot.

I'll probably do a pretty thorough house cleaning today and tomorrow to make thing s easier when Michael gets out of the hospital. Speaking of which, I hate hospitals! I spent so much time in them and knowing what I know, I get the heebie jeebies just being inside one. The surgery is supposed to be about three hours so factoring in pre and post op I'll probably have about 6-8 hours alone. I plan to take my iPad and go through a four hour video series course on food photography. That should help pass the time if my battery lasts that long. I'll try to find a seat next to a wall outlet and charge as I go. I think choosing the robotic surgery is definitely the way to go. I pray he gets through it without issues and recovers well. I'll be happy when that day comes.

Downsizing is good!

I hope Michael has a good outcome from the Surgery and treatments.

I think I would get another Dentist! You need a specialist for root canals. I made the mistake of letting a Dentist who SAID he was qualified to do two root canals and crowns. They are still sore 4 yrs later. One is underfilled and one overfilled. Yuck

Someday when I think I can go through it they will have to drill back into both crowns and fix them. I hate dentist. If you ever find an excellent one keep to him with glue there are so many that aren't. I will say a prayer for you. Be prepared to have a toddler on your hands while your hubby is sick

Most men turn to children when really sick. We love them anyway.

I went to my endodontist for the root canal, not the dentist! No way. I hope you get yours fixed. Jeeze dental is a pain in the neck! So sick of it.

And yes, I am preparing to have a toddler in the house.

I talked with Mary this morning and offered to meet her for coffee tomorrow before she's locked in. She didn't understand at first why she couldn't have coffee next week.

I told her she could still have coffee, but the going out part would not be happening, as she'll be caring for Michael.

I hope Michael's surgery goes well, and that he sleeps a lot after. (for your sake)
