Our first dog was a free aussie mix in a store parking lot. LOVED that girl, smart as a whip. She had a bad reaction to a OTC flea/tick treatment and we had to have her put down. Foaming at the mouth, circling, seizures. It was so sad. A few years later we acquired a 2 year old aussie mix from a man that was moving and couldn't take her. She was a great dog. Had to put her down last spring at 10 years old, tumor in her jaw and she couldn't eat anymore. We so enjoyed them we got two full blood aussies, and now have 5 pups!

Turbo should have been named Tank, that boy is going to be HUGE! I like Zach.

Here is my rosie girl... the pound said she was shepherd and Greyhound mix.... But her very very soft coat told me the cross was Aussie and Greyhound....

My day-after-Christmas celebration with my parents and sister just dropped from four to three. My sister suffered a fall yesterday and fractured her right arm in several places. After a night in the ER, she is home with a flexible cast on waiting for swelling to go down so she can have surgery next to try to put the bones back together.

I am still heading to my parents this afternoon with a beef tenderloin, mashed potato casserole, yam, green bean casserole, rolls, and carrot cake dinner. We are celebrating Christmas and my mother's 91st birthday which is next week, hence the cake and not a pumpkin pie.
