That'all do Mary, I'll take one and a large ice cold, caffeine-free diet Pepsi please. Put it on my account. Please note I said PLEASE, and am THANKING you in advance.

Haha!

Good grief I sure wish we could send some of this rain California way. Lots of flooding!!! And more rain this week. We have way broken the record rainfall for May. We are definitely out of the 5 year drought. We need to dry up a little, my pens and walkways are a MESS!!!!

We are slated for rain all week long either rain or thunderstorms every day of the week. Things are way too green . It's dark already 10 am with storms threatening, I don't see how my neighbor will have his barbeque - he promised me drumsticks.

It must be my fault.

We're dry here in NY also. After the snow melted I thought we would never dry out but since then, we've had one rainy weekend and that's it. The grass looks sparse and burned like it does in August.

That has been the story here this spring until last night - a steady deluge over several hours, really reduced the fire danger. And I got my potatoes planted yesterday so hopefully that will get things going. My peas and lettuce came up then promptly stopped growing due to the chilly, dry weather.

Moved the 2 and 3 week old chicks out to the little chicken coop yesterday, so all are out of the house and garage now Yay!

Love the bench Mary, what kind of paint do you use? I have some adirondack chairs that I would like to paint something colorful.

I used chalk paint. Old Town Paint Vintage white with a coat of soft clear wax, followed by a coat of dark wax, and two more coats of clear wax. They have some lovely colors. http://www.oldtownpaints.com
