Mary, we have nuts out here like that. I can practically guarantee if you fence off your property, he will cut the locks off and fence if he wants to drive through.

We are at the end of our block along the utility easement with the enormous electric towers. . People were using the easement for their, dumping zone, boats, rec. vehicles etc so they would park them behind their homes and not run over their lawns. It was busier than a highway. The utility fenced off the area , with locked gates. A couple days later, the locks were gone and gates opened. I think they replaced the locks three times and then gave up.

That wasn't good enough the perps must have had fence envy, they also cut off some fence panels at the ground posts and departed with them. Of course cops didn't do a thing about it. When I called I was told it wasn't my property and NOT my business. The old forgotten gates are useless - someone cut all the chain link out of them. Why ??

I tracked it on accuweather--It was showing up pink, which is a lot of moisture coming dwon!

There might be more today. Yesterdays split at Sacramento and missed Woodland.

I have never seen that much rain come down so fast, and I've lived here my whole life.

I'm glad to hear you guys are getting some much needed rain.

We picked up our 1/2 hog today. Now I get to learn to cure ham and bacon.

Harper had her puppies tonight! Squee! Giving her some time with them before I take a closer look, all black tris and blue merles. I think I counted 7!

At least this time the puppy pictures won't make me want to run out and get a puppy. I think the only thing worse than temporary homelessness would be doing it with a new puppy!

We actually found out yesterday that the process of short sale approval is moving along quicker than anticipated. The first mortgage bank has been working with our offer and has made an offer of $8,000.00 to the second mortgage bank. My realtor says this means we may only be living in the motor home weeks versus months! I like that! Apparently from the time the second mortgage bank signs off on the offer, we have only 30 days to close.
