I would live on a street named that just for the fun of it.Tell Michael it could be worse. There's a road in the country called Nuthouse lane.
All the old hens are fine. And Skye was walking around last night when I checked on them. I don't believe she is broody anymore, but I'll check today and see where she is.I wonder if Stella has found a chink in Kelly's system yet? I will be happy as hell if I get Skye back and she's no longer broody! All summer long so far. Yikes she's older than dirt.
The neighbors will be fine, and if they don't like it, tell them to just pretend they are at the beach.
Yep, scary fire. No smoke came our way last night, so the winds must be blowing it up the mountain. I hope they get it under control soon.
Uh oh hope they get the fire under control up there...
Well we are hitting 8 weeks old next weekend on the pups, so they are getting ready to go home! I'll be glad to not have 7 pups underfoot anymore! Only 1 is not sold. And hubby hasn't found a new job yet so the puppy income is greatly appreciated right now. We did just get the last of the severance package on Friday. He's gone ahead and filed for unemployment and will be hitting job search in earnest now as a full time job. Ugh. Going to see if I can get the 4 kids on Soonercare (low income state insurance), no way we can afford COBRA, $1300 per MONTH.
Kids are getting ready for school, we have about 2 1/2 weeks until school starts. Where has the summer gone?! It has been a very strange summer- between the extreme wet weather, no job, and everything else. I'm praying school getting back in will get me back to some kind of schedule and sense of normalcy....
Tell them it's a big job and when they come to give an estimate, say you decided not to fence the whole property but just around the little chicken house.Nobody else will return a phone call for a small job!
