[The Sheriff]

I responded to a request from Cal Fire for baked goods for the firefighters. A FB friend lives across the street the station and offered food but they said the request was for home baked treats. I made three of these cakes and took them up. I'll make something else tomorrow.

Yes, I had a cleaning crew in yesterday and finally feel like the kitchen is fit to cook in. I have actually cooked two nights in a row. The kitchen is still butt ugly, the drawers don't open, but it is clean.

There are 1100 working the fire. Four suffered burn injuries today and were airlifted to the burn center. I shot this picture on our way back down tonight.

My sister's beebalm is in full bloom, and covered with all kinds of different bees - who knew there were so many kinds!

There was microbee - maybe 1/8" long, look at the pollen bags!
