I hope you're feeling better tonight, Mary. Having recently fallen myself in a very similar way- out the chicken house door for me - I know you can be pretty shaken up and have a lot of aches and pains for awhile.

Oh I am sorry and you have my sympathy! Ouch. At least I didn't land in the chicken yard!

Tonight I even have pain on the opposite side. I think I twisted when the shoe got stuck and I kept going.

I didn't think I could get up either, but landing under the step with the worms and crawly things inspired me to get up in a big hurry!! Probably better than landing on a concrete floor - you poor thing.

Today demolition started with me. I went into the house this morning alone to shower and change. On my way back to the motorhome I caught the tip of my flipflop on the edge of the sheetrock of the step down into the living room. I took a bad fall down onto the concrete. The step down is only about 18 inches but the step is gone. I hit on my side. I hurt my hip, elbow, two toes, ankle, and have a big sore spot on my head. I couldn't get back up by myself (just like in the commercial) so I laid there until I could scoot over the the step to pull myself up. I managed to get back to the motorhome but couldn't open the door. I banged on Michael's window and woke him up to help me. I am better tonight, just very sore with some bruises and abrasions. Not sure if I was knocked out by the hit on the head or not. Anyway, I will be fine. I need to stop wearing flip flops in the construction zone.

I'm glad you are both ok.

Birthday season is upon my family (5 birthdays from Sept 3 to Nov 21)! First up is my son who turned six on Thursday! Red velvet inside. We have family coming over tonight to help us eat it! It turned out really well I think. He's happy with it so that's what matters!
