Stella's Social Club

Bahaha perfect excuse I say!

Yes I prefer to do it at night or while the kids are at school. But this time I didn't. My kids were actually pretty good- the 4 year old only dipped her finger in the cake frosting once! And my 7yo daughter and 6yo son were absolutely fascinated, my daughter is very artistic and it really interested her to see it all come together.

How's everyone doing? Good, I hope.

I love watching the demo and construction work happening!

Tired of the drama here . . . . hope it ceases, SOON!

We just returned home from Iowa. Had one day notice to make a quick trip up there, because we sold one of our houses. Actually, sold two, but the second one is not ready to have all the paperwork and legalities done. I will probably need to go back up in another month. The grandkids loved the motel swimming pool, of course.

I was telling Mike that the most comfortable bed I ever slept in was in Indiana at the Marriott, when we went to the chicken show. We went to check in and they had given away our room. SO - they upgraded us to a suite. WOW was it ever fabulous! Anyway, that bed was full of feathers and down and foam. The down blanket and down duvet were the topping! OH, and the pillows, too! I slept sooooo good there!

Anyway, come to find out . . . . there is a shopmarriott.com to purchase these luxury items! I am in the process of filling out my order!

I am getting new carpet in my living room, too. I will be so happy to be rid of this cheap crappy stretched out carpet here. Actually, I really wanted wood, but Mike insists on carpet. Maybe if I pick out some outrageously expensive carpet, he will change his mind and go for wood? hmmm....

Mike finally finished removing all the wallpaper in my kitchen. Now, we get to paint! I was thinking of painting one wall RED. What do ya think? What color should we paint? Gold? Tan? Give me some ideas. . . .

I'm no good at decorating Kathy, the house looks like early skid row. I think half a mil would straighten out most of the kinks. But I've gotten so used to the mess, it just seems like home.

We need pictures to decide Kathy! My sons bedroom is red, and let me tell you, it's a pain in the butt to paint red! Unless you plan on painting it 3 times, it will not look even in color. I will never paint red again!

X2 lots of work

I got a temperpedic bed a few years ago and love it _ finally a bed that did not make me feel beaten in by morning.
