Stella's Social Club

As promised, here are some pictures of my Welsummer pullet eggs. The coloring just keeps getting better and better every egg! I'm super excited, as I've been working on improving egg color. The desired color is terra cotta, or clay pot coloring. These are perfectly colored.

From left to right, first egg to todays egg.

And with a Marans egg on top.
Those are very pretty eggs!

My 2 young Delawares are online, along with one of the blue egg layers (AB or AB cross, the CL's are not lasting yet) - here with a few large CL eggs

Nice eggs!

My chickens have begun molting. Feathers everywhere!

It is time to deworm and dust them all, too. I am late. I had intended to have it done before they began molting. Oh well.. .. .. ..

I need to clean out coops, too. . . . That's always fun. NOT

I have one Welsummer pullet yet to start laying, she hatched out of the loveliest eggs - hope she lays as nice as yours

Funny, we are ahead of you. Mine have been exploding feathers for a month now. It's still going on, now my splash olive egger has lost so many feathers that I had to look for her yesterday and make sure she was still alive.

I did the full cleaning last weekend. I haven't started the worming yet though.
