Granite hearth. The laminate will cover the brick under the hearth and wood tiles on the surround.

Crushed granite sink and slate faucet



The leathered granite is neither smooth nor honed. It is sandblasted. The harder rock sticks up a bit while the softer gets worn away more giving it a bumpy surface. I think it will be much easy to keep streak free and I love the way it looks.






My bathroom. It is plumber for two sinks but I just wanted one and more counter space. There are two sinks in the master.





This is quartz in Atlantic Salt. Ended up not liking the choice of shower tile after seeing the quartz install so it is being returned tomorrow for something else.



My back door painted to match the woodwork. Front door is identical.

Looking good!

I've been tackling a huge mending pile over the last week. Trying to figure out how to stretch the pants with blown knees to last this winter. So my daughter got two skirts and my sons got monster pants. Everyone is happy!








Hubby has a job interview this morning, and it is a really good fit. Crossing our fingers he gets this job!!

Ugh speaking of scouts- my son's scout shirt has disappeared. He's supposed to be getting his Bear Award tonight. Got to do some digging in his closet. Hoping he didn't LOSE it!!!!
