As a dialysis nurse I guess I specialized in blood. Actually since we surgially implanted catheters, I got a lot of gut experience too! But I do have a couple of "issues" I could hash over with a professional I guess!

Mike is a professional climber. The other jobs they have done for us have been using a bucket truck. tHis is the first I have seen him climb. Freaked me out to the point I went in and loaded the dishwasher. mIchael and I both have cricks in our necks from watching him. We still have a ton of tree work needed but he took a lot of weight off the tree hanging over the house. The tree that lost a branch is actually in good shape he says. They'll be back with a crew for a full day to get everything done. We surely appreciate what they do for us. We sent them home with pizzas for the familiy. They refuse our money.

Psychiatric nurses suffer enough I'm sure, with "jumpers," and "cutters," and "see how many bullets are left in the gun," stuff.

enough blood & guts!!

Boy oh boy - - - I could tell you some stories! Some are truly unbelievable, yet, true.

One night we had a big guy come in. He was strung out on all kinds of drugs. Believe it or not, he pulled a steel frame bed (bolted to the cement floor) up out of the floor! When he started on the (locked) door, we had to call the police. They sat with us all night. One of many frightful nights at work on the psych unit.
