BTW, I posted on my blog about my harrowing accident. I called you guys out for your concern for the egg and callous disregard for my injuries! :smack

I have diagnosed an injury to my medial collateral ligament. I am going to try to follow the recommendations for treating at home becuase you know how much I like seeing the doctor! It will be a long night for sure.

How is Mike tonight? Better I hope.

I do hope you have some pain relief and are able to rest!

Mike . . . . oh, brother! If I want to know anything I may as well go down there myself. He doesn't ask anything and just lets them do whatever they wanna do. When I talked to him at 1PM he did not even have anything started yet IV. Since he got there at 8AM, and saw the doctor shortly after - there was PLENTY of time to have that started. I yelled at him and told him to pay attention and ask what the heck is going on and what is the plan. Within 30 minutes he did have, "an antibiotic" running in his IV....... WHAT antibiotic? "Oh, I don't know. It doesn't matter."

Tonight he told me that they put something on his other leg, like a big air pillow with air, and that they are gonna do the same thing on his broken leg tomorrow. I am wondering if it is like this?

Oh Jeeze Kathy. "Man sick" is a universal thing isn't it? You have to advocate for yourself when it comes to healthcare or they'll push your gurney into a corner until you yell "hey!"

I hope whatever treatment he is getting kicks in and he can move on to the next step in his recovery.

As for me, I just maneuvered myself into the kitchen and back to my bed with a hot cup of coffee! Now that is what I call the road to recovery. Somebody needs to design a walker with a cup holder. I'll bet someone already has. I'll just duct tape a piece of PVC pipe to mine. This is a temporary deal.

I'm glad you are at least in good spirits Mary.

Kathy, Praying for a speedy recovery for your husband.

1muttsfan, I hope your Mother is still improving and back to herself.

Kelly, What happened to your picture of your walls? I can't find it.
I took it down. If you want to see it again, I can PM it to you.

We continue to help with the Jersey calves. Last night, the party got a little out of hand and someone decided to wear a bucket on her head.

And now she has earned the name................Buckethead.

Haha @Buckethead!

LOOKIE what I finally got set up! My antique incubators! The towel is just until I can afford to get a piece of glass cut for the top. I hate to dismantle the top incubator because it is INTACT, but those pieces hanging off the side are going to be a problem. And it's the bator in the best condition so I want it on top. It's a bit too high, too. I'm thinking about throwing some 2x4 under it and going down to 2, I think that would be a better height.

Also this cute antique picture mounted on cardboard was inside the bottom of one of the incubators. Thinking about framing it and hanging it above the table. It's just too neat!
