Stella's Social Club

When I bred and showed dogs, my max. was 27 - 14 adults and 13 puppies . When I got out of dogs, I kept the 3 oldest and they became housedogs with no problem. I wish I could afford to have a dog or two now. Feed, vet care, etc. are over the moon now .
I'm impressed! Happy New Year Diva!

Just signed up for a chalk paint class on January 16th. It is a 90 minute drive for me, but this gal is the guru of all things painted. Has a 4,000 square foot store, mega online classes, and even a DIY television show coming soon. Made $300,000.00 last year and she does all the picking of pieces and all the painting herself. I gotta see this! I am hoping to learn a few tricks about more durable finishes for tabletops than wax before I paint my dining room table. In this class we get to paint a vintage chair that is missing the seat and then take it home. You put a terra-cotta pot where the seat goes and use it as a planter. I need that, right?

I am also going to try a 52 week photography challenge that starts this week with a selfie. Yikes. I hate that. I am trying to talk my sister into doing it with me. She is an excellent photographer and poet. She just had photos and a poem published in a magazine for glider pilots. She doesn't do social media so she won't post her photos online but she may do the challenge just for the challenge.

Other than the usual resolution to cut down on the sweets and eat a little healthier, that's it!

I would definitely brag if I pulled off taking care of 27 dogs at one time! Of course I would have to do it with Tucker in my lap! Somebody would die of starvation!
