That is likely a swarm. Swarms are docile and don't usually sting because they are trying to find a new home. I still wouldn't do that though.

Mary, Tucker is cute as a bug in a rug. But they made him look like a' unicorn terrier' - NO!! I would either snip that off or put a bow in it - so it doesn't look like they forgot to finish his trim. Please don't let Tucker see himself in a mirror. It could have very negative impact on his self esteem.
I'd like to see the steamer trunk when your done, please. My day in the shop and it is going to be hotter than heck! Michael will be picking up furniture today. My FUSION mineral paint is finally set to arrive on Monday! I can't wait to get started painting. I am going to have a sale today to try to get rid of anything not painted in the paints we sell, MudPaint and FUSION. It is awkward having someone ask about a piece and then tell them it is another brand.
I am just finishing refurbishing an old steamer trunk. It has been a lot of work but will be a great decorative piece for someone. I would LOVE to keep it but again, that is not the goal of retailing. I do love the large tote bag I shoplifted from the store though! it is perfect for carrying the stuff I take to the shop daily like my iPad and my make-up if I am running late!
Crap, crap, crap. I was getting ready to inspect my hives this morning when my husband came in and said they were swarming. Sure enough, it was a swarm. They conveniently (not) settled about 60 ft in the air on a branch of a pine tree. I got a NUC box (small box) set up now, with a frame of open brood from one of the hives and baited it with lemongrass oil. Now I just have to wait and see if I get it.
Off to the supply store for more hive equipment now. Pictures of the swarm later.
