X2That is so cool!

Wow, that's really cool.
Great use of a tractor!
I'm sorry Kelly. It doesn't sound fun at all. Might have to carry an epi-pen when working with bees, if you want to keep doing it.I did not, but there were no worries from the swarm.
It looks like I may be out of beekeeping. While getting the area ready for where the swarm was to live, I got stung twice by my other hive. They are queen less and not happy. Came inside, washed, put my suit on, took benedryl and went back out to get them moved.
When I got done, I had a reaction to stings that I've never had before - itchy palms, then itchy everywhere, then ears feeling plugged and I broke out in hives on my whole body, felt really hot. I forced myself to stay calm, and it got better when the benedryl kicked in. I was pretty close to going to the hospital. So now I have to go talk to my doctor. My whole arm is swollen this morning.
Stings happen in beekeeping, but my reaction was not fun.
