Agreed. It was beautiful, but very ticked off. It was growling and hissing at me for daring to take it's picture.What a beautiful creature. Bad, bad kitty though.

You must live out near woods.. I can's even imagine something like that coming into our back yard. Oh! Now having said that, years ago..like 8 years ago, while we were putting up our Christmas tree, my husband points out the big window, .. Fox! I say .. what?! He says a big red fox just went by. I hurried outside to see if I could see it. Gone of course. He says, it just trotted down that sidewalk like it was no big deal to be in a neighborhood. Never saw it again. I watched my chickens that day..ahem..like a hawk!
Yep, I'm in the woods on acreage. We have had red foxes, grey foxes, coyotes, raccoons, skunks, bobcats, mountain lions and a juvenile bear (thankfully going after our trash can) on our property. I've seen dead opossums on the road. This is why I don't free range. Too many critters!
