Merry Christmas everyone!

I'm not cooking this year, but I'm on dessert duty, and potatoes for the in-laws. The Lemon Meringue pie is done and the Coconut Cream pie is chilling before I can add the whipped cream. Now onto the Smore's cheesecake.

I was really afraid to come home tonight. The chickens in the lower run were squawking at 1:30 when we were getting ready to leave. I sent my dog out to search and left her out, even though it would be after dark when we get home. (her and catching skunks - so she is usually left inside when it will be dark when we get home) I was really worried I'd come home to another massacre. Luckily, everyone is accounted for and tucked in on the roost. A very large sigh of relief. I'll check tomorrow and see if the game camera caught anything.

All those desserts sound wonderful. My only job tomorrow is to boil the shrimp.

just finished boiling them up, in the fridge for peel-and-eat.

Heading out fishing as soon as I figure out what to use to wrap a few gifts, Jimmy used all the wrapping paper last night.
