Stella's Social Club

Clearly she got in through that hole in the fencing.

The goats look really happy to be your leaf composters.

Yes, she is going through the square in the fence, I caught her the third time she went through this morning.
And yes, the goats are enjoying the leaves. I actually did rake some up and delivered them to the bucks.

Yes, google says they are omnivores.

But  on this:
Muscles located next to the scent glands allow them to spray with a high degree of accuracy, as far as 3 m (10 ft).
Oh, skunks are so frustrating because they just don't give a darn. 80 lb dog barking at it less than 10 feet away and it completely ignored her. Well, not completely... dog consistently got sprayed. Only thing I have found them to respond to is the garden hose. Even with the tail up, a shot in the tush sent them scooting on their way! It was very satisfying too. :D Just make sure you have a "jet" selection on your nozzle. (so you can stay more than 10 ft away!)

I smell skunks but they never come to my place. Do skunks travel through the sewer system in cities? I watched a raccoon go into one on campus one day.

I don't know, no sewer where I am, but they go into the culverts all the time. Wouldn't think they would be in the sewers since apparently they don't climb.

Well we are well past the leaf-disposal season here. Jimmy went out to try to lure the hens out with treats, but they would have none of it. Wind is blowing and lake-effect snow squalls whisk through frequently
