Stella's Social Club

We had an early visitor last night. It visited us before 7:30 last night. My husband didn't believe me that it was a bear, so here is his proof. The "evidence" is 150 feet from the trash can and this was only about 1/2 of the trash. It was strewn all over the place. Largest pile of poo I've seen in my entire life.

Did you show that to Casportpony? She is the poo expert....
:gig
She could likely tell you if the bear had parasites or etc....

Thank you Kelly they are so pretty, and so welcome now that winter is finally supposed to arrive. Should they be kept in the fridge?

Sorry for the haphazard packing. I literally had to dump them out of the box I had them in, into the new box. I was in a HUGE hurry before leaving town and they wanted double the shipping because it wasn't in the "right box". I'm glad they arrived in good shape.

If you are going to use them right away, don't worry about refrigerating them. If it's going to be a while, they will keep longer in the fridge.

One of my Arkansas Blue pullets is now laying eggs at 5 months old. Gorgeous blue too. I might have to hang onto that splash cockerel long enough to get some babies out of them. He is separated in my temporary coop at the moment, but once the pullets are laying well and large enough eggs, I could add them to the coop with him. Offspring would be 100% blue.
