I have had very bad luck with eggs from Gabbard in the past. I suspect these eggs in the My Pet Chicken assortment also came from Gabbard since they use drop shippers. The writing on these reminds me of the eggs from Gabbard.Hopefully I'll get a few pullets for my later flock and can recyle the roos to my farmer friend. Anyway, I am having candling issues so I ordered the high intensity scope from Brinsea. It uses batteries and I'll be candling outside so that should work well. It says it can see inside even dark eggs so it better or it's going back!

Molly, what have you got in the form of young pullets that no longer need heat? I am thinking about them to go along with the coop for Sarah. Kid friendly, pretty and docile would be nice.

yes the penedesenca would be from Gabbard. I figured I would try it but now I wish I would of waited though 2 other shipments from people who raise them have yeilded the same. Still hoping.
I need a young large breed rooster that can go with the layer flock.
will probably end up with a few . want a langshan and a jersey giant. Plus more chickies. Maybe once I know what Molly has I can go get some hopefully on the way back from Woodland with the penedesenca.
