Step Into My World If You Will

They will come back.

If you can, hire someone to remove the dead hives and then seal as many openings as possible to keep them out, I understand this is terribly difficult to do, but this is what needs to be done.

With old comb in your walls, your house is very attractive to swarms. If you do not have the means to remove the old hives and do the necessary bee proofing contact your state beekeeping organization http://mostatebeekeepers.org/ about having a beekeeper set up swarm traps at your house. I would go with at least two

You say you are allergic, did you get tested? Could get an epi pen and suit up to the hilt if you are. Let your dad work them, you can watch and harvest honey.

yeah i almsot died after a bee sting but im also sensitive to the epi lol (im all kinds of complicated in the health dept) i wish we had a llittle more land, mabe if we had an acre with a little space well away fom the house...but right now our house sits right in the middle so theres not much on each side.

That was an amazing video! I hope to someday be as confident as that around a swarm.

I am opening my hive tomorrow to put on another deep box. I'm hoping my husband will be able to take pictures to share with you all.

I think y'all just might get a kick out of this one. This video is of a large swarm I removed from a guy's vehicle. It was so much fun!
