Stephanie? Or Stephan?

I got a silkie chick and he/she is almost 6 months old. I haven’t heard any crows and my current rooster hasn’t picked any fights at all with the silkie. He/she is very sweet and will run up and stand on my shoe while I’m working out in the coop. I have been told by many BYC peeps that he/she was a girl, but now I’m not so sure.

I would love to keep him/her, but if he fights with my other rooster, I won’t keep him.

For sure a dude. I would call him Steph Curry... See the feathers that stick out of the crest? The huge dark red comb? Sharp hackle feathers? 100% male.

Definitely a cockerel, and not a pure silkie. Maybe a silkie/cochin mix.
