yes I woke up at 2am and couldnt sleep so I made them. they were good but I put too much of the topping in the pans and made a extra 1/2 batch of the topping. all the pics looked like they had a lot

. boy it made alot of them I sent most of them with my daughter last night to her friends house since there are 6 kids there. Im going to try again with less topping it was too sweet for me but the buns themself were great I liked them better than the cinnomon rolls I made out of gumpsgirl bread dough (but those were good too). thanks for the recipe

I have been going nuts over Iced coffee and Coffee smoothies of late, last night I gave into making some freah shakes with homemade strawberry ice cream and some fresh berries I have on hand.
I know it is winter, just fired up the wood stove and gave into temptation. Now today baking. What has gotten into me.

Thank you for the sticky bun recipe!!! I will give it a try. I used to work at a TJ Cinnamons here in Waco, Texas for about 5 years till they went out of business

I had a sticky bun for lunch every day after I got off work with vanilla or chocolate ice cream.

I miss them so much..

OOPs forgot to mention.. For nut sticky buns sprinkle either chopped pecans or walnuts on top of the topping before adding the rolls.. We used chopped pecans at bakery because they were cheaper than walnuts.. For the people who can drink coffee they go great with it. ( I don't drink it any more) , hot chocolate goes good also or herbal tea..

Katy, Have you actually tried freezing these pre-baking? If so did the texture/taste stay true? Thanks, Gabby

Yes, I've frozen them pre-baked many times and they thaw out nicely overnight in the fridge and then I bake them as usual. They turn out fine. They're nice to have on hand in the freezer.
