I have 4 hens and 1 rooster, 3 years old. Last summer and now again, my hens have crusty vents and often their eggs are blood spotted. I treated them and their house last year with a mite powder but I'm not sure that this is even what they have. There are no vets in my area that deal with poultry so I am trying to figure it out on my own. Any ideas?
