I am just editing a post of mine from yesterday so y'all can see everything that has gone on. He is now doing great and even walking around, but he is very sticky with some membrane stuck in his feathers. Should I wrap him in a damp warm cloth and see if that will get it? Or should I just go straight to a little chickie bath? Thanks in advance. Here is him 14 hours post hatch.

I think I placed the eggs in the turner pointy side up 🤦‍♀️😭. It's day 22 and there have been 2 successful hatches and one who had his leg bent around but seems fine now. There are two more eggs that are zipping.the one that I am most concerned about has been zipping for several hours (at least 6) and has made very little progress. Do y'all think I should assist?

I went ahead and removed some she'll around what I imagine would be the pip line, I'm going to leave him alone for a few hours now. The other guy looks like his membrane is drying out, so I'm not sure if I should mess with him. Again, gonna leave it be for a few hours and see what happens.

We got him out. There was definitely something funky going on. The second membrane was all wrapped around him, and at points was really thick and almost gelatinous. He looks a little underdeveloped, but he is moving around and talking so we'll see if he makes it through the night. He has a little membrane over one eye that I'm going to remove after he dries off a bit more in the incubator.

Hey, how is the little one now?

I had to help two hatch this morning. They had started to vacuum. One started pipping day 19 (today is day 22) and the other started to hatch yesterday. Both had decent sized holes but just couldn’t seem to get out. 3 others successfully hatched by themselves in this time. They are now 3 hours old and although don’t seem to be fluffing up much, they’re moving around and noisy!

Hi! Unfortunately this little guy passed away at about 3 days old, but I think he did not develope properly while in the egg. The other one I assisted is doing fantastic though ☺️ Best of luck to you!
