Mostly what I’m learning is chickens are real hard to sex. Here’s another who until just now I thought was a hen. P.S. this chicken literally posed like a supermodel. Gave me a right profile, head on, the. Left profile. Perfectly! Cindy Crawford would be impressed.

Here’s the twin from the same hatch.

How old is she? She looks hen to me. Nice thin comb and straight tail from what I can see in the picture.

I'm still learning as well. This one looks like a pullet to me. It's a little hard to see from the angle, but I don't really see male specific feathers or anything real pointy and cockerel like. I'm sure you'll get a more educated opinion soon though, lol.

They both look like girls to me. But again, I'm still very new to chickens.
The farmer I got them from says hens too. Which makes me so happy! They are some of my favorites. Don’t like being caught but will snuggle when they are. And so curious. These babies (all 5 of my Australorps) have the most curious personalities. Wanna see them get excited? Show them a phone.

Lol that's so cute! I absolutely love Australorps. They're on my list of breeds to have one day. Right now, I've got 4 different bantams, and I have 4 BBS Orpingtons coming next month. Mine are only 3 weeks old, but their personalities are starting to come out. I can't wait to see how they change as they grow. Your babies are beautiful!

Thank you! You won’t be disappointed when you get them. And they are as beautiful as they are spunky. That green sheen is on point!
