for now on i'll give it to them by hand at first. I used a dropper on those that seemed depressed 2 more times since my last post. I just went out there to check them again and they were ALL acting totally normal. including the one I posted about above. a couple hours ago it was laying there barely able to move. this time I was up eating and drinking! wow! I had marked those I treated so I could find them again but still asked my hubby to make sure that he didn't remove a dead one. that's a big/fast improvement! I wish i'd thought to ask a few days ago, could have saved 4 or 5 more chickens. oh well I know now. thank you all for the help.
and i'm assuming the corid will clear their system by the time they're ready for freezer camp... anybody know about that? it's not like i'm selling them, they're for personal use. I have a special needs daughter that we're trying to eliminate all chemicals/meds from her diet.
Great news! So glad it worked out for you. When we were reading up on the treatment there were some that advised not eating eggs within a week of treatment, but with your birds being so young, it shouldn't have any worries by the time they are freezer ready.
