Still picking tomatoes?

here in Idaho we've had several frosts but our tomatoes are pretty much undamaged. Still got green ones and orange ones on the plants

Today for lunch I had my last BLT. Sourland is sad because he does not like 'store bought' tomatoes.

Think I'm going to be able to eat the last, suspect looking, tomato on Thanksgiving day. The Roma tomatoes haven't done much for me this year but I espied one today that went on my ham sandwich for lunch. Ham, tomato and Alfalfa sprouts is tasty.

Well, it's that time of year once again. Down to 5 tomatoes on the kitchen windowsill and another 7 or 8 outside on what is left of the vines.

I won't know what to have for lunch once the last tomatoe is gone.

Our tomatoes are pretty fair. The determinates are browning up and dying off, but the indeterminate in the hoop house (green house) are fabulous, and I"m still picking 6 lbs a week from about 10 plants.

Gotta love the hoop house. Last year had tomatos through December.
