Barred rock cross... looks like she only has 1 barring gene... black washed legs like a rock...

Interesting, I'll learn the genetics someday. I got lost one night in light vs dark barring and gave up.

I have no experience with purpose bred meat birds but didn't think she'd be little if she was one. Didn't grow fast either.

I agree! Not PBR fully and doesn't look big enough to be a meat bird. Has very pretty laced looking chest..

I'll loan her if someone finds her a groom. Otherwise it'll be a Faverolles or blue Cochin roo for her.
