Stinky,disgusting breath in hens

Dulcolax (Docusate Sodium 100mg. Use the plain Dulcolax only.) This stuff is stimulant free and will not cause any cramping or diarrhea.
so if you haven't tried it... you might want to.... it really does help get that stuff out of the crop... =)

Update-I massaged crops maybe 2 or 3 times today.Over the 12 hours,I guess it emptied,but I felt nothing this morning. This afternoon the crops were dead empty so I fed mash feed,with some free choice grit on the side.They were very hungry.I think the 2 pukes may have cleaned the crop good (Maybe mine do not have a serious case yet).The breath does not stink nearly as bad as it once did,only can get a strong stench if you stink your nose to the beak,other then this all the other girls breath smell like grains and outdoors.
The hens seem fine,like nothing really ever happened.Maybe by Friday they will be healed.

It sounds like you are making progress. I would stick with plenty of water and just mash for the next couple of days to see if it completely clears up.
