Well it looks like my state will be having another shutdown. As it is feed has been pretty hard to find by me so I'm going to go ahead and buy a couple months worth tomorrow. My chickens and ducks are about 3 weeks now how long should I plan for them to be on starter/grower and when can I switch them to an all flock feed?

Forget the starter and switch now. All flock feed is only just slightly higher in protein than stater. All the other nutrients are the exact same. When you get to the shelf where the feed is, look at the sew tape at the bottom of the bag for the mill date and pull out the most recent bags so they will stay fresh longer.

Thanks for the input everyone.

Seriously. I've been having a real hard time finding any supplies near me and we aren't even shut down and every feed or hardware store near me is 40 minutes in opposite directions. You can imagine how fun it is to go to one feed store and they only have half of what you need and now you gotta drive 80 minutes to get to the other one.
