Stole my Photo......

If you search on the internet "Ameraucana", the OP's photo is the first to pop up due to the breed pages here on BYC. See here:

Is there a way that you could maybe contact a mod and have them replace your photo with a watermarked version? Or do the photos have to be kept un-watermarked for the breed pages? That would probably solve your problem right there.

That's the picture from the BYC breeds page if you click on it.

Exactly. That is my point, could you maybe contact a BYC Moderator and have them replace that un-watermarked photo in the breed pages with a watermarked version? Because that is probably all that you would have to do to solve your problem with people stealing your photos. If somebody stole your watermarked photo, they can not claim it as theirs as it will have your username, real name, or farm name ect. on it.

Here's the last response I got from the seller:

"That's perfectly understandable that she would not be happy if seine else used her picture. It was a juvenile mistake. Please extend to he my deepest regrets. Thanks"

Glad you got it resolved. I take so many pictures of my chickens I don't see why someone would feel the need to steal rather than take their own.

Only thing I don't have are 1 legged chickens, and I saved a few of those pictures but I never reposted them.
