Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

That second one is a total different horse than the first. The first has a left rear sock and a light right front hoof. The second palomino is in need of a trim has no white sock and has dark hooves. The first horse does have a blaze or snip but hard to tell from a side shot. However I do agree it doesn't look like Max. The white on the muzzle doesn't come over to the side as far.

Dear lord i can not get sick again! I come back and i am lost! What's going on with rescue ink? Should we email them? I do love that show!!! What is up with MAX? What is the DA doing? I am going on twitter and tweeting BRB!

RoPo, have you printed out fliers?

It is what I would do. Then I would drop one off or send it to all the local veterinarians and farriers, both are lucrative in the horse industry and I'm sure someone is sure to run across your horse. Then I would visit all the local feed stores and give them one as well, also explaining what is going on.

It might not get Max back directly, but a visiting farrier or vet might be able to get a location and observation of him. And everytime he goes to the feedstore, he'll get sick and tired of being painted a horse thief.

You did make sure to keep in regular contact with the local sales, they see many animals and a flier a few weeks old might start to be overlooked. But, by calling and talking to them regularly, they'll know you are still searching and you want them to keep up the vigil.

But where is Max.

I so wish I lived close. I would drive around till I found him.. Ive had a pet stolen once. I know how the OP feels. Im going to check the internet at least weekly in the area to see if any more palominos come up for sale..

I agree. I just found my horse that was stolen (sold by my sister) in 2000. He is in good hands so I am leaving him. Not fair to the new owner.

Sorry to be so late in getting back.

I appreciate everyone who helped with the craigslist link, but "thankfully" it's not Max. I am going to the DA's office TOMORROW and filing charges. I am wanting to take a reporter from the local paper who will be able to record what happens from an "outside" perspective and I am also going to the sheriff's office tomorrow and asking for a form to fill out for stolen property.


If they try to deny me....





On a side note. The man I leased the horse to called me tonight. I did not pick up.

Being optimistic, I hope it would be something along the lines he's ready to give you, your horse back. ((Not that there'd be any need to drop charges))
