So sorry to hear of your ordeal! I can't imagine how awful it would be. I have had horses my whole life, and I feel for you. Is this horse registered? If so, some registrys will help to recover and prosecute, as well as banning the offender from horse registrys.

It just so happens that I'm scheduled off of work the very next day! I'll talk to my supervisor and see if I can work half of my shift on the 31st (I need the hours, but can't work the whole shift because of court), but hopefully it'll work out. Since I'm off, I'm going to request the date for Max's retrieval be April 1, 2010. MWAHAHAHAH....ironic isn't it?
