People need to understand that when a judge gives a "last-minute" continuance to the lawyer who requests it, that gives the judge a free day off. I went through several years of 18 "last-minute" continuances. All the trial dates were set for THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, guess who got lots and lots of four-day weekends.
RoPo, when you started this thread I had just found out I was pregnant. My baby is due in just 6 weeks and you still haven't had your day in court, much less have your horse back.... this is ridiculous! My hat is off to you for your patience.
Robin, maybe you should write a letter asking them if your kid is going to be in nursery school before they get done with this
...tell them what you just told us...if you can't wow them with facts, then dazzle them with a bit of science...this might make a bit of a wakeup call...
