Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

I totally understand family "issues".

So can you borrow and drive his truck, or can you rent one?

Maybe a BYCer who lives in that area would help you out. Several people have offered to drive a truck and horse trailer if you needed it. Your dad sounds a bit reluctant to face a possible confrontation with the evil one. I'd be scared too, but mighty determined to go through with it. We need GIRL POWER!!

Good luck on finding another driver!!

Wish I could help, I love confronting evil doers, especially when it comes to the innocent but I dont have a truck and I am to far away. Sorry about your disappointment in the family, just remember no one is perfect including ourselves and our parents.

Do you belong to any local horse forums in your state? or local riding clubs? I know my local group has been able to arrange transport even if several individuals only haul a short leg of the trip. The other option might be to check with a stable near where you think the horse might be and have a plan to have the stable haul him at least to their farm until you can get trailering arranged.

Hmmm ... would that weather guy help? Noticed yesterday that he is one of your FB friends. Surely there's SOMEONE in the area!! Good luck!

Sounds like your Dad is beginning to believe that your hearing is never going to take place and your not going to get your horse back.

How many times have you had a hearing scheduled only to have it cancelled, rescheduled, 1-3 judges refusing to take the case, etc.

Has your Dad or any other family members been present for any of your scheduled hearings?

Hang in there and I would find my own transportation if I were you.

Dad was there at one...the first one.

He was supposed to be at the others, but decided to go to Arizona on the second scheduled one. This third scheduled one...I just have no idea why he would all of a sudden back out. I'm asking my boyfriend's brother to drive, he offered to be a backup, and if that doesn't pan out, I'll ask the stable-owner where I'm going to be boarding Max.

Just ridiculous...

Thanks for the ideas everyone!

Wow. I've lost track of the time sitting here reading through 203 pages.

I cannot believe what I have read here. The only word for it is INSANE. I do not see how on earth this has dragged on for so long. It seems so simple, open-shut, horse gets returned, the end. Is our system seriously this out of whack? Disgusting!!!

I hope you get your Max back this week, and I dearly hope the slime bag who sold him gets locked up for a very long time. What utter scum. Good luck & I hope to see photos of Max on here in a few days!
