Momto Syd&Emma is right with you Ro, if I had the money to come to court with you, I would of been there! Shoot I wish we had the money to hire you a lawyer. lol

So are the postcards going to "our" side, ie. the folks working on OP's behalf? If so, something like

Just a note of encouragement on case #CF-2009-0485. It's been a lot of work, and a lot of waiting. Max misses HOME! Keep up the fight.

Oh, very good Ms. ccat!

That is what I will use. I couldn't come up with anything that sounded so friendly.

K. Got some info:

1. The man that leased Max didn't show up for his plea bargain in court, so he has a warrant out for his arrest. This means no payments to me since he "never officially" accepted the plea deal. More than likely, when he IS picked up, he's going to be put in jail with no bond.

2. The judge still has not gone out to see Max. She is waiting for a free afternoon from dockets so that she can go out. I asked the DA if she could go on a Saturday or after work...and he said she could but more than likely won't.

Absolutely no surprize. This case can and will continue to drag on forever as long as it's allowed to - in my opinion.

The judge sat in court and winked at RoPo but actions or lack of speaks volumes.

Wow. I have followed this thread and I can't believe that it still has not been resolved. Boy, our legal system in action and it's one of the best in the world????

Can we right to the JUDGE at her business address using Ms. ccat's friendly postcard phrasing? Just sort of a nice influx of pleasant postcards letting her know that a whole lot of people are waiting on her to go see Max? Do you think that would be helpful? If so, what is her biz address?

wow. I cannot believe that you are being punished for being the paintiff in this matter. That is totally unexcusable. It's been weeks since you won in court and you still don't have that horse. Ask the DA is you can file a complaint against the court.. or what process can you take to expedite this process. Call him everyday to see what is up!

I think it would be best if we left that judge alone. In other words, don't rock the boat. She might not take too kindly to an influx of postcards reminding her she isn't doing her job. And no matter how friendly they sounded, it most assuredly would remind her she isn't doing her job.
