I would give whole oats with sunflower seed oil or canola if I had too instead of vegetable oil.....you could add a touch of molasses if needed to get him to eat it.

So glad his home with you....he looks really good!

WOW! I have been reading this thread off and on for over a year. I never posted because my heart was so sad for you. I didn't think I could say anything uplifting. But, now, I can say, CONGRATULATIONS, FANTASTIC!!! You are amazing!

I have watched and checked and read this almost daily through this whole thing as I know have many many others. I am soooooo glad for you and happy and I truly hope that these people really have to pay the consequences of their actions. Through personal experiences here lately I really have little faith in our judicial system but I will continue to hope that these ruthless people involved in this get what they deserve. hmmmm maybe a little time in a dark damp barn with a crapload of parasites thrown on 'em and some bread and water for a diet for several months ....oops sorry I was thinking out loud ...... sometimes old fashioned justice doesn't seem like something we should have dispensed with........congrats to you both and I wish you the very best!!!!
