Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

If he is claiming he put a lot of Vet $$ into the horse, ask for copies of the vet bills. If you are told "we treated him ourselves" ask for copies of the receipts for the medical treatment; like if they bought something at Tractor Supply to treat him with. Burden of proof and all that jazz.

Also, if they do provide vet receipts, check with the vet to make sure they aren't forged and are for the correct animal. Would be super easy to give a receipt for another critter if it doesn't specify name/color/etc.

Good luck!

The vet bills don't mean anything to you. If it was a stolen car he had an he put a radio in it that wouldn't mean it was now his car it would mean you now have a new radio. He will have to try to get his money off the horse thief.

I am speechless...

All I can say is I hope things get better soon and that you get every last cent back.

All I can say is what goes around comes around. This guy....these guys are wrong and they know it. they will have their day! God is watching! Sickem lawyer man!

This is how I see it.

1) taking a horse that is not yours is stealing and stealing is breaking the law
2) recieving stolen goods is also breaking the law
3) KNOWINGLY receiving stolen goods is worse! He admited this to you!
4) Falsifying records is also breaking the law.
5) Harboring criminals....wrong! Someone knows where this guy is and is not telling.
6) ticking off a whole slew of cowboys because you are a horse thief....not a good idea!

Have you heard of the media, tv? Let them air your story and let THEM try to weasel their way out of it. YOU HAVE DOCUMENTATION do they?

Good luck and prayers are going up that God takes care of his own!

Well, that's too bad if it is true because he has purchased stolen property and I think that he is going to be out of luck.
