What do you think of all of us contacting our local TV stations and seeing if they will contact their "Sister Stations" in OK to publicize this? Small town TV stations are usually scraping for stories, and they love human interest stories, especially the "little guy against the powerful bureaucracy". I would be willing to start the process here in Greenville SC at the NBC station, WYFF. I think it is going to take some BAD publicity before that sheriff takes notice.

I have been so wrapped up in this and concerned about Max that I thought about it all weekend and I was just heartsick when you posted that no one knows where he is. Someone knows, and we can flush him out.

I think I'd contact any livestock sales you can find including that 'Price Horse Sale' place, with info about the horse being stolen property, under investigation with the DA and Sheriff's dept, NOT saying the name of the suspect, but maybe saying something about not being able to give the name due to current investigation etc. (don't get sued for slander or liable, besides how likely is it he'd put it up for sale himself.) A picture of the horse, a complete description of him, and some info about the situation so they will hesitate to allow it being sold, and might even contact the police if someone tried to sell it.

That stinkin sheriff knows where he is!!.(his buddies house!)...i'd be on him like white on rice! I'd be staked in front of the police dept. until he took me to see my horse...(for real..but i'm a nut job..so..)
Does the sheriff have a supervisor? there HAS to be someone over this guys head...

HEY..another thought...why wont the sheriff give you this guys address?? i mean YOUR stolen property IS there...i'd demand an address.... then youu can have animal control out to check on the horse..

Oh I have the man's mailing address. But I do not have the address as to where he is keeping the horse. The sheriff's office will not push him on it and when I spoke to the sheriff he said "we think we know where he is."


I've already contacted the Price Sale and sent in photos also!

go to the station (or call) and ask to speak to someone over the sheriffs head.. tell them that you feel the sheriff is friends with this man and is protecting stolen property..
or file a complaint aganist the police dept... that WILL wake them up and get things moving...
call the media with corruption in the police dept. story (because it IS corrupt that this sheriff is protecting this man..his buddy..)...
