Dress code in court can be strict. Think church. Nothing that shows your knee even when siting down an nothing that shows your collarbone.

That's ok...I haven't seen my collarbones since I was 17!

The skirt covers to the knees when standing, but being 6' tall kind of limits the length of skirts I can get away with. This one is not too short, looks like a business skirt. I will find a shirt at Wal-Mart...one that I would/could wear at work.

Should I wear a red color or a blue color? I'm thinking blue, but I do not want to blend in too much?

I called the DA to check on the progress of the ownership hearing, and he said that he filed it, but that the judge hasn't signed it. He's going to call the judge first thing in the morning to have it signed so that he can serve the papers to the guy, the uncle, and to me and get a date set. He also said that the guy is involved in a cattle operation that was stolen and he sold them at an auction. Nice huh?

There is a possibility that the judge will allow another 30 days for the guy (the one I leased the horse to) to get a lawyer if he requests it. I'm betting he will just to be a butt.
