Maybe you should file a formal complaint with the county attorney and the state attorney because of the way the sheriff's dept mishandled the case. You may also consider contacting the State Police. They have the ability to investigate the Sheriff's Dept. Even if they can't resolve the case, the waves it creates might get the locals off their butts.

At this point I would make multiple copies of everything that has happened in an easy to read format complete with a footnote section that includes all documentation and reports and news coverage. I would then send a copy to your congressman senator, FBI, the various "news on your side" programs almost all the big channels have one, the NY times, and all big papers, Animal activist groups (cant mention names but begins with a P and all the others, a few PI firms (the big ones) shoot even Perez Hilton he does love his little dog and you never know.... anyone with a voice. If you cover enough people SOMEONE will take on the story or the case as there are all the juicy tidbits they love, corruption, fuzzy animal, greed, etc... I would send each one registered mail so that who ever gets it knows you mean business and with a CC sheet that mentions every other person a copy has gone to (this too will let them all know that you are serious and add a little competition to those interested in helping or doing the story.

I am really serious about this as there is no one on the lower levels that is going to help you now you must think outside the box and start screaming as loud as possible as someone is bound to react.

Has anyone tried reporting to the State Attorney's office? Have you written into Morning America or any of the major networks? They love a good case of corruption!

The smaller affiliate stations are less likely to throw a fit about this.

Called the Attorney General's office, had to leave a message on a voicemal.

Called the Governor's office, will hopefully be speaking to someone soon.
Governor's office said they will not do anything because the executive office is different than the judicial process. The woman named Jeannette was VERY snobbish.

I would call them several times a day untl you get a person. They stay busy, and it is the best way to get them.

I also called the small claims court to see if anything could be done and she said that she was worried that the court would just tie itself together and one would be thrown out.

But someone knows where he is because they have seen him, right? The troopers claim they saw him and he was in good health? There has to be some way to get that address from them. PM me the guy's name who has the horse...lemme do a little digging. I bet I can find the jerk. (FYI, I didnt' type the word jerk. LOL My word was much more fitting.)

I have no idea what the son's name is. I know he's the son of the uncle.


I just got a call back from the Attorney General's office. No help coming from them. They see no wrong-doing on the part of the DA or the court system.

I almost want to call up the DA say "forget the ownership hearing" and file in small claims court. But then...which county do I file in? Rogers County already said that they were unsure if the criminal hearing would interfere with the ownership hearing since it's already been before a judge.


The only person who's seen him is the same deputy who called him by the pet name. He's also the same one who said this was not a criminal case, but a civil one. Needless to say, I am not trusting of anyone down there anymore.

Did you Facebook/Myspace his name? From there it's pretty easy to search people/relatives out.
