The man i leased the horse to went with a plea deal. $2750 to me plus fines plus 20 weekends jail. the uncle is raising a ruckus bc he claims he didnt know the ownership hearing today and that he wants his lawyer. i was told there would be no lawyers other than the DA questioning us since it was a criminal ownership hearing. in other words...he wants them topostpone again. the judge is apparently really angry as am i. we havent started the ownership hearing yet.
