Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and it doesn't mean they don't support RePo.

There are hundreds that are supporting her through this forum, several that have written letters to the local newspaper, State Attorney Generals, District Attorneys office, made phone calls to the local paper and above attorneys (myself included) ALL in support of RoPo and getting Max back but all of us don't have control over how this case is being handled directly or indirectly. RoPo does or could have some control if she hired an attorney to represent her to the best of his/her ability to do more than what RoPo is able to do.

This town has been jerking her around since last August 09 folks. What's done is done but that doesn't mean it needs to continue that way. Sitting back and HOPING things go her way or HOPING the DA is doing what he can to get Max back is just not cutting it in my opinion.

She stated many times that she didnt have the money for a lawyer... lawyers are very expensive..

Many of us will or would be willing to put up money to help with that and I believe it had been suggested before.

In this case, the need to come up with attorney fees would be the same as coming up with money for a vet bill, which in some cases could be just as much if not more than attorney fees.

RoPo got the friend attorney fees awarded in the theft case against the nephew. I believe she should get attorney fees awarded from the uncle who is keeping a horse that doesn't belong to him from RoPo, the rightful and legal owner.

Yes, but the difference is that the first time it was the DA and he was volunteering his time/efforts (as he is now). The guy has to pay her, what? $25-50 a month or something like that to repay the fine/fees. Trying hiring a lawyer and telling them that you aren't going to pay them now, but when they win the case for you you'll probably get $50/month from the loser of the case and will be happy to pay them out at that $50/month rate. Bet there aren't many takers.

Ropo, I think it's a good thing that she's planning on taking a vet out there. Sounds to me like she's covering all the bases and that's a good thing. Hope he's home soon.

I would be willing t give some money for this can we start a collection ?

I just sent two emals out to Attorneys in OK asking for help and telling them there are a lot of people that would send money to them to help. Now lets see it anyone answers me. If not, I'll keep asking. I don't think it's a good idea to start a collection. Lets see if one of the lawyers get back to me. I also gave them the thread so they could read it. I hope that helps.

I do believe some where in the many pages of this thread. I swear i saw a moderator say that you can not ask for money to help a cause. Now if she was selling hatching eggs saying the money went towards a attorney. Then that could be done. Just like I saw some one do when they were short on the closing cost for the house they were buying.

RoPo... I sure hope that judge goes out to see Max tommarrow.
I will be thinking of you and Max and wishing for the best.
