Stolen Horse--Man is BACK in jail!

I for one am thinking, if it goes into effect tomorrow...then at 12:01AM i would be at his gate making all the commotion i could and get my danged horse back!!! tomorrow is tomorrow....get-r-done, he wants to be an A$$ play the game!

I just don't "get" the way this whole thing has been handled, even what is happening now. I so feel for you!

I am honestly surprised at the way they are doing this. You would think that nothing would be surprising at this point, but I have to say that I honestly am. I can't believe that this judge is just sending you on the way to collect the horse from the uncle basically on your own with only a deputy. It stuns me. Isn't the deputy from the same office you originally had problems with? The one where a couple of the uncle's relative worked and were arrested on drug charges? Even all that aside, I am shocked they are just sending you to get the horse on your own (even though you have the deputy).

I would have thought that they would have at least made the uncle bring the horse to a neutral location and at least tried to verify its' identity and current health and then had you pick it up there so that you don't have to deal directly with this family. Just be on your guard, get in there and get your horse back. I would take as many people with you as possible and try to not even speak to the family as much as I would *love* to say a thing or two to them. It is just not worth escalating things with them. I can't wait to hear that you have your horse back and all is well.

Good Heavens, again cat and mouse is being attempted.

Hubby gave me the reason why the writ is for tomorrow. Officially, the order to let you pick him up today doesn't expire till tonight at midnight, so the new order can't go into effect until after that.

I agree, if you can get your people to go with you and the deputy will as well (hopefully), you should be at his gate at 12:01 midnight. Not the best scenario for identification but I suspect the uncle will try and move Max. After all you've been through, I would think the vet and deputy would be willing to stay up a bit late to avoid the risk of Max being moved.

If not, I hope all goes well tomorrow and I'd be there when the sun comes up as well.

GOOD LUCK ROPO!!!!!

It sounds like it's time to elect a new sheriff and for the entire force to be revamped. There has just been something fishy going on within that dept. this entire time.

This is such wonderful news!!!!

Now we all need to send some GOOD vibes RoPo's way, so this journey can at last come to an end. I can't wait to see the headline
"Stolen horse---max IS home!!!!"

Definately take a camera, one that does both pictures and video is ideal.
take pictures of Max so that horse theif does not try to pawn off some other horse.

get the deputies name and turn it into the DA.

I hate to be the naysayer but be ready for anything tomorrow.

I wish you luck on getting Max back.
