You do not need to remember your old password to change it. You just need to put in a new one twice.

I read your post, and tried it. It asks for the old password, then wants me to enter the new password twice. I tried ignoring the old password part, and a box opened and told me that old password is a required field.

Old password as in the one you are using right now. new password is the one you want to change it to.

If they sent you an email this time when you logged in, with a new "temporary" password, go back to that email and get the temporary password from it again. Write it down or just right click and copy. When you go under profile, put the "temporary" password where it asks for your old password. Then, create your new password, enter it again, and ask the site to remember you.
I had to do it a couple of times because my computer went offline in the middle of me changing it the first time, then the site shut down for maintenance the second time I was trying to change it. The most important thing is to save the email with the latest temporary password you are using to sign in with so you can enter it again when needed.

Now I have a question... You can change your passowrd? I wouldv'e done it ages ago so I wouldn't have to remember my crazy jumble of letters and numbers, but after a year of memorizing it, I wouldn't change it now.
