Well this morning everthing was still all white and pretty. Now its all melted except small patches here and there and a big nasty muddy mess. Was nice while it lasted.

Snow?

They don't get much snow down here....since I've been here...3 winters..it has snowed 2 so far...hopefully it will be 3. They are not used to it...and just a coupla hours up the road....snow is part of life in the winter!
I did get to be in snow on Tuesday....wasn't heavy...it was freezing and blowing hard little pellets of snow....but hey, it was snow!

We live in Bolton, about 30 miles outside of Wilmington and the kids loved the snow!!! Anyone have any Snow-cream?!?!?!?! Come on!!! Snow, milk, vanilla and sugar? We had like 6 huge tupperware bowlfuls!!!! my kids were so hyped up it wasn't funny....my dog kept trying to catch snowballs and was so confused when they exploded in her mouth!!

Too funny, exploding snowballs!!! My son would have liked that!! I should have made snowcream but just didnt even think about it, sounds yummy though!!!

Snow for the southern part of North Carolina is a rare treat Gwen!! We were all thrilled to see it, like a bunch of kids gettin a day off from school..but that was just the adults, lol!!!​

Well my yard is pretty much melted now. Just mud and duck poo now!

Its still white around the pond between all the trees, but the pond itself has even unfrozen... to my ducks happiness they can swim again for the first time in days!

I kinda miss it, but I'm still chilly so I'll just sit in the house watching the bird and my tulip bulbs continue to come up!

We still have some snow in shady places. We ended up with 6inches and my doxies (all over 13yrs) were not impressed one bit with the snow! I ended up carrying them up and down the steps and into the area under the eves and behind the foundation shrubs, four or five times a day..

Great pictures thanks for sharing.. and I also love it when I don't have to go out in it..

You can't even tell we ever had snow now, in fact it was all gone in two days!! I was a nice little surprise though while it was here!!!!
